Be Careful How You Criticize

20 Shevat 5771

I want to offer some good advice. If you're a skeptic and you don't believe in something, like the messages purported to be from autistic children, so, just ignore it. If you believe it comes from an impure source and can bring harm to Jews, then bring your proof. But to simply say it's navi sheker, with no proof offered is not only a disservice to the klal, it could be a very serious aveirah---attributing the work of Hashem to the side of evil.

Just like we have to be careful what we believe, so we have to be careful what we disbelieve, especially if we are going to denounce it publicly. Personally, I never take anything at face value. I've been reading the messages from the autistics since 2002 and I have yet to find anything wrong with anything they've said. It appears to be right on target and completely in line with what the neviim already told us.

Despite that some have accused them of setting dates, I find just the contrary. By their own admission, they've never set a date...

(From the source referenced to prove such date-setting, Chapter 50b, Oct 2, 2007):

"...Throughout the past fourteen years of FC sessions, an exact date was never specified. The only time ever given was in phrases such as, 'soon', 'we are at the end', etc."

After that, a year---5768--- is designated as a major turning point, but the interviewer tries to get the autistic man to admit to something more specific, which he at first refuses to do, and then confirms that the neviim talk about whole countries disappearing which is not quite the answer the interviewer seemed to be looking for. And this is the greatest obstacle regarding the messages from the autistics---that the interviewers can and sometimes do try to impose their own biases on the answers that they receive.
This time period, just after the chagim in 5768, was autumn 2007, the beginning of the US economic "recession" which is undisputably a major turning point, which has brought us to a very different world today than it was then.

It's interesting that a few people have referred to Rabbi Nir Ben Artzi's messages as "parroting the autistics." It is not necessary for us to have a middleman between us and Rabbi Ben Artzi, as is required with the autistic children, so now we can see just how reliable their messages have been until now.

Obviously, all these messages are coming from the same source and since the emphasis is on Jewish unity, doing teshuva, obeying Hashem and giving up the Eigel HaZav, if it is navi sheker, it's doing a really terrible job for the other side.

In their most recent message, "Menachem" tells us the following...

"I just want to say to you that the world is now hanging by a thin thread. And it stands ready to fall every day. That's not to say that Mashiach is arriving immediately, but it is to say that this world is really ready to fall, and I know that we are saying this year after year, for almost twenty years, and still the geulah has not yet arrived. But what has happened is clear, that the economy of the world is almost on the floor or underneath it...."

The urgency with which they communicate their messages is surely a function of the source of those messages. And we would do well to keep that in mind.

I am currently going back through all the messages to see if I can find any error with them and I will let you know what I find or don't find as the case may be.

Meanwhile, it would be worthwhile for everyone to re-read...

MESSAGE TO AMERICA

From Binyamin Golden, 28 year-old with autism
Jerusalem, Israel Oct 10, 2000

(1) I want the Jews of America to know that they are not safer than the ones living in Eretz Yisroel. They must realize that Hashem is losing patience because the Geula is waiting to arrive and cannot be delayed any longer. But we Jewish people are causing the delay and therefore Hashem must help us to realize our mistake in order to allow salvation to come upon us.

(2) First, the nonreligious Jews - those who are at war with Hashem, Chas Veshalom - will not be able to win. They will fall and disappear from all eternity. But first they will realize, like the Egyptians as they drowned in the sea, Who is Boss. The Jews who have no knowledge of their Jewish heritage cannot use it anymore as an excuse. Because today everyone can get all the information he wants on any subject in the world while sitting at his table. So for a person never to search out his own origins is simply an act of laziness, ignorance and a desire to ignore truth in order to continue wallowing in the physical pleasures of this world. So these people will suffer much, and if, at the end, accept truth wholeheartedly, will be saved.

The next group of Jews are the ones who believe they can live in two worlds.

(3) Keeping Shabbos but not covering their heads, neither the men or the women - or just the men and not the women - or think they can eat kosher at home but outside eat vegetarian in any restaurant. These people make up rules according to their desires. They feel they are traditional Jews and still part of the modern world. These Jews have a very hard time accepting the truth that they are like the ones who revolt against Hashem, Chas Veshalom, because they have the chutzpa to sit in the palace of the King and openly deny His rules and regulations. Now we come to the religious - the so-called ultraorthodox group of Jews.

(4) These Jews hold the future in their hands - the ones that are supposed to be the closest to Hashem. But what is the truth? The truth is that the frum community is reeking with the stench of Olam Hazeh, of worshipping the Eigel Hazahav with all the negative things that come with it. And these so-called frum Jews - who spend their days shopping, making parties - of course, for tzedaka, but parties nevertheless - taking vacations, buying outrageous wigs, fur coats, jewelry, cars - these same Jews have brought into frum life movies, videos, CD-roms, all the dirt of the non-frum American world.

(5) Therefore, we now find in our world of Kodesh - adultery, theft, even a lack of belief in Hashem. And these same people are influencing the rest. Some are dressed modern enough to identify them: men in smartly tailored suits, expensive hats, gold cuff links and maybe a bit of a beard - women dressed in elaborate wigs, much make-up, gaudy jewelry and striking clothes - many not exactly up to standards of Tznius. But there are the others that also enter into this category. And those are the men who still dress in long black coats, sport long payos and beards, wear streimels or sbuddoks on Shabbos, and still live like their more modern-looking counterparts. Their wives look very much like the more modern ones - maybe a bit more toned down.

(6) Now you have the yeshivishe world, who are living on the work of their wives. Yes, their wives, who now go to a frum college so they can support their husbands' learning - but frum colleges are not kosher at all and they learn many forbidden things. And then they are sent into the world to earn money so their husbands can learn. Many work in offices, even frum offices, where adultery is common practice, where Tznius is forgotten almost completely. And this money is supposed to support Torah. And every bochur is looking for such a girl.

(7)Oy vai, Am Yisroel! The most erlich of people are struggling very hard in America, because to stay really frum is not easy - because the Yetzer Hara is now wearing a yarmulka, payos and a beard. Everything has a hechsher but almost nothing is really kosher. Am Yisroel, American Jews, save yourselves. The end is not far off. The troubles in Eretz Yisroel do not mean that you are safe. Hashem wants to save you. He loves you. He wants you back. Throw out the gods of money, lust and honor. Throw them out completely.

(8) Come back to truth, complete truth. Throw away your silly masks, your gaudy wigs, your baroque clothes, and come back to being erliche Yidden. The only thing that I will add is fighting - machlokes; that will kill first. First machlokes will kill. And you have witnessed many tragedies. They all have to do with worshipping foreign gods and machlokes. I bentch Am Yisroel in America that you should accept truth before it is too late, before the great darkness descends upon us all. Strengthen your mitzvos. Throw out all unnecessary gashmiyus.

(9) Come back to your Father in Heaven - truly - and save yourselves and your families. I bentch all with a Gemar Tov and a great yeshuah.

But strengthen your bitochon in Hashem, your belief in Hashem, your love of Hashem, because in this great darkness not a glimmer of light will appear; and only those who have complete trust in Hashem will be able to survive. You cannot suddenly get it. You must develop such a trust, and only those who really try to be Hashem's servants can make it.

  1. but in that very post you link to, they are contrasting what they said previous to what they are saying now. in the past fourteen years, says Abba, they never set a date. but NOW, in 2007, Binayamin was saying "in a few months".

and in a few months the big change was to come, which seems to include entire countries erased from the map. and in the same FC, he says that THIS year, 5768, will be the year. This was to get people started on ketz-ism again, and indeed, I know people who looked at the next Rosh Hanashah as an end-time as a result.

In 5768, the date Daniel set, did something occur?

(btw, this in Oct 2007, in the aftermath of a predicted date of Sept 18, 2007 -- not explicitly by them, but i guess by others, though the believers grouped them together. see here.)

Beside that, they were recovering, and asserting this, as a followup of their ketz that they set of the Rosh HaShanah a few days previous.

Here you go, in chapter 42, "The Greatest Rosh HaShanah in history". This, with Binyamin Golden, where he writes:
"It is true; there are going to be great wars soon. Every place on Earth will be at war. Israel will not be destroyed, but many countries will vanish from history, including the residents. Only the truth will remain and rule the world.

If the people do not repent before Rosh Hashanah...

This is going to be the biggest Rosh Hashanah in history, the most significant in all of history. If the people do not repent this Rosh Hashanah, woe to everyone. Woe to all those who think this is a joke, woe to all those who don't want the extreme side of Judaism, woe to all those that think they can live in both worlds; in the materialistic world as well as the spiritual world. Woe to the Jewish people, the chosen nation, beloved to Hashem.

This is truly the Day of Judgment; the Day of Judgment for the whole world, as it is every year, but this year, we are coming upon the greatest change ever, since the exile from Egypt."

What do you think he meant by this, before Daniel's father's defensive clarification? This was likely why everyone -- meaning including believers in autistics -- thought that a ketz had been set. That they try to weasel out of it later just shows that they are good weasels.

    kol tuv,

  2. Josh, I didn't post your second comment because I can't verify the source. See my answer to this one in the new blogpost.

  3. Gee Josh, I don't know what country you live in, but its hard to imagine that the shakeup of the financial world hasn't touched you in some way yet. The nations of the world have resorted to lies and suspended rules to keep their financial institutions from officially declaring insolvency. Almost every conceivable measure of the economy has government sponsored "fudged" numbers in them that are frequently reclassified the following month or period downward to reflect something closer to reality. They are trying to lie their way through this, but its not going to work. The American financial system and by extension, the world financial system lies in ruin. If you deny this, you are only deluding yourself. Recognize what is going on, this is not just an economic downturn.
