The Saudi Connection 2

26 Elul 5773

It would appear that Saudi Arabia is bribing/blackmailing the superpowers to do their dirty work for them. They've got a plan for eliminating Israel (a blackspot on the Caliphate) and Iran (the Sunni-Saudis Shi'ite competitor for leader of the Islamic world).

Go back, if you will to 11 September 2001 at the World Trade Center in NYC.  No one has ever attempted to adequately explain why 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi Arabian citizens as well as the alleged mastermind - Osama bin Laden.

According to A Second Look at the Saudis:

...In the years since September 11, a growing body of evidence has emerged illuminating the central role Saudi nationals have played in the rise of Al Qaeda and its terrorist attacks against the United States.

... in virtually every major terrorist attack against the United States over the last twelve years, the men actually pulling the trigger at the end of the day have been Saudi Arabian. These include:  The Saudi National Guard bombing in November 1995, which killed five Americans. All four of the men convicted and executed for the bombing were Saudis.

The Khobar Towers bombing in June 1996, which killed 19 Americans. Of the 14 men indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice for that bombing, 13 were Saudi Arabian, including all five of the men who drove and detonated the truck bomb on the day of the attack.

The Nairobi embassy bombing in August 1998, which killed 12 Americans. Both of the men who drove and detonated the truck bomb were Saudis.

The USS Cole bombing in October 2000, which killed 17 Americans. According to both the Prime Minister of Yemen and a well-known former Al Qaeda operative, both of the men who drove and detonated the explosives-laden boat used in that attack were Saudis.

The Riyadh residential compound bombings in May 2003, which killed nine Americans. All nine of the suicide bombers killed in the attacks were Saudis.

The Mosul mess tent bombing in December 2004, which killed 18 Americans. The lone suicide bomber responsible was identified in numerous press reports as a foreign insurgent from Saudi Arabia.

Saudi nationals have also played a leading role in financing these efforts. In March 2002, Bosnian authorities raided the Sarajevo offices of a Saudi-based charity called the Benevolence International Foundation. Inside, they discovered an electronic file containing numerous internal Al Qaeda documents. Among them was a list of 20 prominent financial donors who were referred to within Al Qaeda as the “Golden Chain”. The document appeared to date from the very first year of Al Qaeda’s existence, and Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) has described these men as the “funding fathers” of Al Qaeda. Of the 20 donors listed, all were Saudi Arabian.

In fact, Saudi Arabia has now been financially linked to the Bali nightclub bombings on October 12, 2002, which killed 202 people; the Madrid train bombings on March 11, 2004, which killed 191 people; the Beslan middle school massacre on September 3, 2004, in which 330 hostages were killed (including 186 school children); the London subway bombings on July 7, 2005, which killed 56 people; and the Mumbai train bombings on July 11, 2006, which killed 209 people.

Between the financiers and the foot soldiers, it is clear that every strata of Saudi society has been intimately involved in making Al Qaeda happen. But as disturbing as these facts are, they are just the beginning.

Considering how they've just been exposed threatening Russia with terrorist attacks unless Russia agrees to do their bidding on Syria, the only conclusion we can come to is that this is the whip Saudi Arabia cracks to gain compliance.  But, then, the obvious question is why does the US stands for it?  Well, it might have something to do with the petrodollar.  If the Saudis were to unpeg from the US dollar and create a unified currency for the Gulf States, it could potentially destroy America economically.

Now, we move forward to 2002.  Did you know that the infamous "Road Map for Peace" originated with - you guessed it -Saudi Arabia?

Three-Phase Plan for Mideast Peace Outlined

Statement of the Quartet
New York, 17 September 2002

...The Quartet reaffirms the continuing importance of the initiative of Saudi Arabia, endorsed at the Arab League Beirut Summit, which is a vital plan of the foundation of international efforts to promote a comprehensive peace on all tracks, including the Syrian-Israeli and Lebanese-Israeli tracks.

...The Quartet also met and discussed these issues with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, as representatives of the Arab League Follow-up Committee, and with representatives of Israel anti the Palestinian Authority. The Quartet looks forward to continuing consultations.

22 May 2003:

Israel told to accept road map `formally'

...U.S. President George W. Bush told Sharon on Tuesday that it is important to proceed with the political process according to the road map. American officials told senior Israeli officials that they are under heavy pressure from Arab countries to make Israel accept the road map.

...The road map, which was formally presented to the sides on April 30, calls for a three-phase process: calming the situation on the ground; establishment of a Palestinian state in provisional borders; and a permanent agreement by 2005. Israel has accepted the phases in principle, but has presented many reservations about the specifics of the plan, starting with a demand the process begin with the Palestinians dropping their demand for the right of return of refugees to the country.

The road map puts the refugee issue in the third phase of the process, during the final status negotiations. Israel is also against the road map's predication on the Saudi Arabian initiative, which calls for an Israeli withdrawal from all the territories captured in 1967.

There are still too many puzzle pieces missing, but if I had to guess based on this information, I'd say maybe Obama is looking for a way out of being a servant to Saudi Arabia. But, if they want him to take down Shia-Syria and Shia-Iran on their behalf and he dares to refuse, I guess we can expect to see some kind of terrorist atttack yet again on US soil or assets abroad or worse.  What do they do with recalcitrant presidents?

How is it all going to end?  With Mashiach, of course.
