"...That Which is Wondrous in Our Eyes."

"This is from G-d, that which is wondrous in our eyes. (Tehillim 118:23)"

According to Western thinking, mankind has "evolved," moving steadily from primitive to modern. According to Torah sources, it is just the opposite. Adam HaRishon - the first man - was the most highly "evolved" man ever to live in this world. He retained his knowledge and passed it down. Earlier generations had abilities, that "modern" man is only now beginning to understand and appreciate. In fact, the Dor Haflaga who built the Tower of Bavel were masters of this knowledge and of them, Hashem said "...nothing that they may propose to do will be out of their reach" (Gen. 11:6)" 

They were too advanced! So, He confounded their languages and split the land mass into continents separated by oceans to break up this unity in rebellion. Their structures from this time period still exist today and can be found in every part of the globe...
