Hundreds of rabbis support Rabbi Levinstein
300 rabbis across Israel signed a letter in solidarity with Rabbi Levinstein...
...The Rabbis penned a letter which was published on Wednesday night stating: “There is no place for legitimizing these phenomena or this behavior which celebrates a lifestyle contrary to human morality and the path of the Torah.”
“The love toward every human being from Israel and the obligation to show respect to every person cannot be used as a reason to twist the religious truth or to cut corners regarding forbidden acts,” the rabbis wrote. “It is the duty of a rabbi in Israel to deal with all religious or moral matters in a clear fashion as teachers in Israel. In this vein, we reject the attempt to shut the mouths of rabbis in Israel,” the letter continued.
...Three hundred rabbis across the country signed the declaration along with respected educators and heads of Yeshivas, Hebrew learning centers and IDF preparatory yeshivas.
“In light of the recent public discussions regarding the remarks of Rabbi Yaakov Ariel, Rabbi Yigal Levinstein and other rabbis,” read the letter, “we wish to express our support to every rabbi who expresses his rabinical opinion which stems from faith in the Torah, impartially and without apologies.”
The rabbis concluded their letter pledging that they will continue to express their religious opinion on every matter which demands it, without fear, in fulfillment of their public responsibilities, “on behalf of the silent majority - religious and nonreligious.”

ReplyDeleteEnd of discussion. For Hashem this is equal to bestiality. Besides, it's one of the 36 izurei karet (horrible sins, the worst), the soul gets cut and loses his share to the world to come. Not to mention that this act also leads to wasting sperm on purpose... do you know what's the punishment for zera levatalah? It calls tachtit haaretz (seventh section in hell, which is eternal). Do you want eternal hell or kafa kela for a stupid desire? Go for it! But parade your sickness somewhere else. Keep your filthy acts for yourself in your own private life, Hashem will deal with you in gehenom, but don't desecrate our holy city, because Hakadosh Baruch Hu may strike all of Am Israel because of you. I don't want to see more Jews murdered in terrorist attacks because of this stupid liberalism and open provocation against the creator.
B'H, the Rabbis seem to be waking up, all because of this wonderful Rabbi Yigal Levenstein's courage. May they go from strength to strength.
ReplyDeleteSins of this kind all kinds have been going on since the beginning of time, when the snake and its evil took hold of humanity. The worst part of what is going on is that these people double sin with their arrogance and chutzpah of flaunting and parading and honoring SIN. In a normal time in a normal world, this could not happen, therefore, r'l, it says much of this era.
For humanity's sake, the righteous must stand up against all evil; otherwise, civilization will pay, c'v. Praying all Jews do teshuva and the rest of the world also wakes up, so Redemption will come with mercy for humanity.
